Getting here
The studio is on the second floor above a flower shop. There's a small pink Fluffy Pann sign in the window — buzz #2B at the door and we'll come down. We're a five-minute walk from the C/E at 50th, and an easy walk from the theater district if you're making an afternoon of it.
Before you come
- — Wear something you don't mind getting flour on
- — Closed-toe shoes, please (it's a working kitchen)
- — We provide aprons but you can bring your own
- — Bring a tote bag for what you take home (or buy one of ours)
- — Show up ten minutes early for coffee and an introduction
Questions, gently answered
Do I need experience?
No. About 70% of the people at any given workshop are first-time bakers. Our classes are built for that.
What if I'm late?
We start on time so the dough can do its job. If you're more than 15 minutes late, the class will already be in motion and it'll be hard to catch up. Let us know and we'll do our best.
Can I bring my friend?
Each workshop seat is for one person. If you'd like to come together, book two seats and we'll seat you next to each other.
Is the studio accessible?
The studio is on the second floor and accessed by a staircase. We don't currently have an elevator. We'd love to host you and will work with you on private sessions in accessible spaces — reach out and we'll figure it out together.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, in any amount, sent by email with a handwritten note. They're in the shop.
Can I buy bread without taking a class?
We don't sell bread out of the studio. We're a teaching kitchen, not a bakery. But we do make a small batch of loaves available for pickup on the first Saturday of the month — sign up for the newsletter for that.
Do you host private events?
Yes — bachelorette parties, birthdays, team offsites, anniversary surprises, and corporate workshops. Inquire on the contact page.
